  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Ground black pepper

  • Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to the package directions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Drizzle with olive oil to keep it from sticking.
  • Prepare the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Stir occasionally until the sausage is browned and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes). Add garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra flavor.
  • Cook the Broccoli: If you're using fresh broccoli, chop it into bite-sized pieces and steam it in a microwave-safe bowl, covered with water, for about 4-5 minutes, or until tender. If you're using frozen broccoli, follow the package instructions. Set it aside once cooked.
  • Combine: Once the pasta, sausage, and broccoli are ready, combine everything in the pot with the pasta. Toss well to mix all the ingredients together.
  • Finish: Serve with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and ground black pepper to taste.
